Indoor bonsai -Ligustrum Aurea - Bird's beakDESCRIPTION: evergreen, abundantly branched, dense bush. The leaves are fresh green (like lettuce). In summer, it blooms in cone-shaped panicles, with small, tubular, quadruple flowers, which develop into black fruits. It is a suitable plant for beginners, it grows quickly, there is always something to cut, by drooping leaves it draws attention to watering, but it requires frequent watering. He can sometimes react to prolonged drought by letting a branch, usually the lower one, completely dry out. LOCATION: in the apartment in a bright place, at a temperature of 6 - 22oC. WATERING: plentiful throughout the year. If the plant has little water, it will tell itself about it by drooping its leaves. After timely watering, the leaves are fresh again. FERTILIZATION: throughout the year twice a month with liquid fertilizers. TRANSPLANTING: every year in the spring, at the same time shorten the richly grown roots. SOIL: Substrate for bonsai Bonsai Master, or clay (akadama), peat, sand in a ratio of 3 : 1 : 1. CUTTING: we cut it often, it has a lot of new growth. If we don't prune, flowers form, but the bonsai loses its shape. SHAPING: we wire the branches all year round, new shoots after lignification.
